The hottest AC/DC tribute band
in Finland, Dirty Deeds Indeed, was established in the summer
of 1995 in Jyväskylä, Finland. Because Dirty Deeds
Indeed is a tribute to late AC/DC frontman Bon Scott
(1946-1980), all the material they play is from Scott-era albums:
High Voltage, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap,
Let There Be Rock, Powerage and
Highway To Hell.
Dirty Deeds Indeed is, first and foremost, a
tribute to the music of AC/DC. That is why they are not trying
to create an exact replica of an original AC/DC show. Creating
a raw and dangerous groove, similar to what AC/DC had back in
their 'club days' in the 1970's, is more important than a schoolboy
uniform and imitations.
You won't see "Angus", "Malcolm",
"Phil", "Cliff" or even "Bon"
on stage, but only five Finnish AC/DC-fans enjoying the music
they love. The singer Timo Heinonen, however, would probably
score quite high in a "Finnish Bon Scott Competition",
if there was going to be one... but that's just the way he has
always looked like and how he has acted on stage...
Former
band members:
Jaro Joensuu, drums (1995), Julle Juntunen, bass (1995-1998),
Mikko Holappa, drums (1995-2000), Riku Saaranluoma, bass (1998-2000)
